Description
I am Joel, a French boy with a passion for classical music and fashion. I love listening to Bach’s symphonies, as they transport me to another world. I have a small piano that my parents bought for me because of my interest in classical music. One Christmas, my family asked me to go to the bakery to buy sweets and some ornaments to decorate our home, just like others do for the occasion. I dressed in the fashionable suit that my mother had purchased from the chic boutique in Paris. It’s green velvet trousers and a smoky jacket. After buying the sweets and ornaments from downtown, I walked past the theatre square near the bakery, as I often do on my way home. I saw a fat boy removing a sheet from a pole and pasting up a new one. I approached him and asked, “Hello, sir, how are you? What ad sheet are you putting up today?” I asked. “Hey kid, I’m doing great, oh! The ad sheet? It’s Bach’s concert,” He replied. “Really! WOW! Are you sure? I’ve been waiting for a concert like this for a long time. Bach is my favourite musician, when is it?” I asked excitedly. “Hahaha, you’re in luck, kid, you can read the date on the paper, It’s on 20 December 1720, just 10 days later” he replied. “What a wonderful coincidence,” I thought to myself. I ran home, overwhelmed with happiness, eager to share the wonderful news with my parents.
