Sebastian
An intelligent and elegant boy. He is a travel lover. Sebastian is travelling with his dog “Mike” to his French aunt due to the spring holiday of his literature college. Unfortunately, Sebastian arrived at the train station once the train had left, the reason that made him a little bit upset was that his aunt was waiting for him to eat lunch with him. He knows that his aunt is a professional cook, especially in baking Italian pizzas, the most delicious dish that Sebastian loves from his aunt. “Sorry, Aunty, I will be delayed a little bit, but I know how much you love me, and you will not be upset with me,” Sebastian said to himself. To make up for his delay, Sebastian decided to purchase a small gift for his aunt.
As he scanned the area, a shop of vintage handmade dolls for sale for sale caught his eye. Knowing his aunt’s love for collecting such unique items, he quickly entered the store and selected a charming old-fashioned doll for her. With some time left before the next train, Sebastian also bought a newspaper from a nearby booth to keep himself occupied until the train arrived. [read more]
After a while, “10 minutes the train will arrive, hey, Mike, let us go to the wait beside the mailbox pillar over there and wait for the train,” Sebastian talked to his dog Mike. “Oh, my Aunty, I miss you so much. I’m eagerly looking forward to enjoying your delicious pizza, and Madeleine cookies with linden tea. I can’t forget the aroma of these cookies, how you baked them for me in the previous years, it filled the air with the warm, comforting scent of butter and sugar mingling together, reminding me of your cosy kitchen. I remembered how each bite from it made me eager to eat them all. It has been a long time since I haven’t seen you since I started my first year in college. Wait for me, Aunty, I’m coming”. Sebastian said to himself.

Phillip
I’m a street dancer wearing a costume made of organic cotton, reminiscent of the Louis XIV era, featuring a caftan with gold buttons, a white velvet cape, and a high stand-up collar. My puff pants are adorned with satin ribbons and gold button ruffles. I also wear a frilly tie and a wreath of golden leaves and pearls on my head.
My father is a professional street performer, particularly skilled in dance. Every weekend, he would take me along to watch his performances, sparking my interest in his craft. “I want to be a professional dancer like my father,” I declared. I began to pick up some dance techniques from him, and this job became a vital source of income for us. [read more]
One day, during a performance at a carnival, my father collapsed from exhaustion and couldn’t finish his show. Realizing I needed to step in, I quickly stood up and demonstrated my balancing skills impressively. The audience felt surprised at how well I controlled my balance on the ball, especially my father. “Yes, Phillip, it’s time for you to take over, handle the work, and give me a rest,” my father said. Seven years later, my father became older and sick, and I had to work hard to cover his medical expenses. One day, after finishing my performance, I counted the money I had collected and realized it wasn’t enough to buy his medicines. At that moment, I felt like all the doors had closed in front of me. Suddenly, I saw my friend Lucas approaching.
“Hey, Phillip, what’s wrong?” Lucas asked. “No worries, my friend, I’ll be alright,” I replied. “Is something wrong with your father?” Lucas inquired. Being perceptive, he quickly understood the situation without me having to explain. “Phillip, take all the money in my bag. I was collecting it to buy a gift for my girlfriend’s mother, but your father needs it more. Please take it and help him,” Lucas said. “What a kind heart Lucas has,” I thought to myself. Herein, I realised that friendship isn’t just a word, it’s an attitude.

Lucas
I’m a street performer, imitating a living statue in the central square. I stay perfectly still until someone puts money in my old medical bag, prompting me to start dancing and playing my instrument.
One day, a new dancer joined our street. I loved her performance costume and asked her where she got it. “Hey there, I’m Lucas. Nice to see you joining our street. I really admire your lovely dance clothes,” I said. “Hi, I’m Carla. Nice to meet you, Lucas. My costume was designed by my mother; she’s a fashion designer,” Carla responded. “Wow! I love it. Could your mother make one for me?” I asked. “Yes, of course, I’ll ask her,” Carla replied.
Carla’s mother designed a beautiful costume that suited my street performer persona. It featured a short jumpsuit with lace ruffles, a frill with gold buttons, and an extended cap, making me look like a court jester in a grand kingdom.
“Thank you, Carla, for helping me get this costume. I appreciate your mother’s effort and creativity. I’ll give her a special gift once I save some money,” I expressed my gratitude. “You look great in this costume, Lucas,” Carla said shyly. At that moment, I realised we had become more than just street companions.

Pablo
The Spanish Bill poster boy. He is wearing coloured wool shorts, a linen shirt, and suspenders. Pablo carries a burlap bag full of posters that need to be posted in certain places. Once Pablo reached the theatre square, he found old posters needed to be replaced with new ones on the pillar of the theatre square. He recognised the time was close to 12:30 noon. It is his lunch break, and he is too tired and hungry. He looked around him in order to find a place to sit. Unfortunately, no bench was available in the square to sit on. The best place was the pillar (He recognised). He put his glue bucket on the ground and lay on the column to relax and eat his stale burger. Once he started biting his burger, the birds flew toward him to eat his only burger. He felt sorry for him and for them as well :). He smiled and instantly threw a piece of the bread to feed them. And then, he resumed eating the rest of his food. One of the birds is standing on the pillar and observing Pablo’s burger. The bird decided to grab it from Pablo’s hand. What a poor boy, Pablo :). The scene text will be printed and attached to the doll.

As you can see, I’m wearing a classic sleeveless camisole dress made of olive gold satin, adorned with buttons and decorative loops. My curly hair is styled into a bouclé ponytail, reflecting the fashion of my time. My shoes are copper-coloured with shiny buckles, creating a striking contrast with my snow-white silk socks. I’m a bird boy of the 18th century. I love to listen to classic symphonies. My younger sister “Eleanor” wanted to learn how to play piano. So, she invited her girlfriend Constance who is skilled in piano to teach her a track of Mozart’s symphony. Once Constance started playing a Mozart track, I heard her playing coming from my sister’s room. I stopped surprisingly to listen to that beautiful musical track that Constance was playing, “what beautiful playing” I said. Herein, my heart started beating in love with Constance. To what extent does music affect our feelings and emotions to make us fall in love?

Uncle Bellagamba
Every Christmas, the village square turned into a bustling market, and one of the most beloved sights was Uncle Bellagamba’s stand, where he sold his natural Christmas trees. Living in Virginia in 1850, Bellagamba nurtured these trees all year on his small plot of land. Though times were tough, his spirit remained cheerful.
Known for his lush trees and booming, pleasant voice, Bellagamba’s thick Italian accent had evolved into a funny American drawl. His patched clothes reflected his modest life, but his heart was rich with joy. His constant companion was Ricks, the laziest dog in town, who dozed by the stand or ate scraps. Bellagamba adored him, calling him irreplaceable despite the teasing.
But the real magic came from Bellagamba’s pockets, always stuffed with Christmas candies for children. He’d pop sweets into their hands, pretending to be a living Christmas tree, shaking his arms as if candies were falling like snow.
