Patricia’s Surprise,
The beautiful American girl is coming back from the Christmas market in the year 1850 in Virginia. Patricia’s father told her mom that he would delay coming home, because of the dense snow on the road. Patricia felt sad for her mom because she knew her mom had been waiting for that moment for a long time. She quickly decided to go to the Christmas market despite the severe frost outside, in order to buy a Christmas tree for her mom. She took her stubborn little sister Linda with her, her dog Bobby, and her sleigh to drag the tree easily. The funny Italian seller, who sells Christmas trees in the market. Uncle Bellagamba comes every Christmas season to sell his beautiful trees in the market after taking care of them for the whole year. He lived in Virginia in the year 1850. Everyone in the village knows him Because of his loud voice and funny American accent. His clothes reflect his poor situation. Despite his poor life, he has a cheerful and rich spirit. He always loves to laugh. Even though his lazy dog Ricks only eats, sleeps, and doesn’t do anything for him useful. Bellagamba believes that this dog is Irreplaceable :). At Christmas, Uncle Bellagamba is used to putting candies in his pocket to surprise children and walk around to make them happy on these special days.

Patricia: Hum, I would like to buy that small one. Because I can’t put the big one in my sleigh.

Bellagamba: How come these little kids got out to buy a gift for their mom in this frost weather? What awesome kids. I’m proud of them. (He wondered).
